Jonathan Carter

Jonathan is driven to understand how things function together. He has 20 years of IT experience in military, transportation, agriculture, casino, and high technology industries, as well as experience working with various startups.

Jonathan is a Solutions Architect at Acquis with extensive IT and procurement experience. His experience building and modernizing IT infrastructure environments helped him understand the concepts and subsystems that business SaaS applications use, allowing him to offer unique solutions to system challenges.

Before joining Acquis, Jonathan worked for Wacom Technology Corporation as IT Manager of Solutions Architecture. He worked closely with Coupa’s senior product design team on Coupa Pay, and was among the earliest adopters of that system. Before Wacom, Jonathan worked at TruGreen, where he built a new instance of Coupa, and at FedEx Services where he held various IT infrastructure and project management roles.

Jonathan holds a B.S. from Florida State University. His post-bachelor education focused on computer science, electronics, and computer engineering. In 2005, Jonathan became an active member of the University of Memphis Computer Engineering Technology advisory board.

Jonathan has lived in every corner of the United States, but currently resides in Washington state. He enjoys spending time with his family, biking with his sons, and teaching them how to build and fix things.
